- gen & ship are both wonderful, especially the "building into something ride or die" gradually. or when it’s messy and trash. platonic soulmate friendships are wildly underrated though. i do like ships to not be a hop and skip to sunshine fluff and smut (moments are okay, but overall i find it boring), prefer we talk through it or let it roll as it may if it’s not canon.
- good with negative & positive cr, as long as the former is plot relevant or leads somewhere.
- glad for canon, cross-canon, and ocs.

spock is always in want of the big 3. uhura and kirk most sweep the best friends and best boy/girlfriend trophy. really miss the episodic foam rock throwing adventures we couldn't get in the movies. being isekai-ed or mirror-ed is always a kick.

garrus wants to space vigilante with his best friend - or new friend - to rescue people, step on bad guys, really kick the shit out of those bad guys, get another cool moniker. basically all the stuff he didn't really get to do with the space apocalypse and whatnot.

connor is a weird little guy. thinks he wants friends, definitely needs friends. but just keeps being a weird little guy. needs to build a slice of life or something awful like running for your life to keep him busy. dark detective plots. does want to micromanage hank and walk the dog.

preferences/notes: usually prefer brackets over prose, but can do either. i can be very active and then painfully slow in intervals. so if you lose interest quickly, i will disappoint you. time is meaningless to me, so i will take backtags forever.

Lord of the Rings (books)

offering: Éowyn, Éomer, Faramir, Boromir, possibly Théoden if I get my act together and make an account.

seeking: Castmates: I would love to dig deeper into canon dynamics, especially family dynamics (if you have any of the same characters as me, bring them here and I will play their families! please!). My impossible dream is to play a bad-end AU where the Ring-quest failed and characters have to survive the invasion of Mordor and try to keep others alive. My other impossible dream is a post-war foursome with Aragorn/Arwen/Faramir/Éowyn - I just think that would be fun as hell to navigate in RP.
Crosscanon (including OCs): in general, I am open to shippy stuff with any of these characters (except maybe Théoden, because I'm not sure he's over his wife), and I have a particular love for arranged marriages, as well as for more fucked-up scenarios like one character taking another prisoner in battle.
AUs: I have a couple of AU settings that might be fun to throw around, either with castmates or cross-canon. Regency era/Napoleonic wars is a favourite, and modern AUs are always fun. I would also love to play an isekai scenario where one character just finds themselves in the other's canon (perhaps a chestful of Orc arrows can be Boromir's truck-kun...)

preferences/notes: I'm fine with all types of CR (positive, negative, gen, shippy, smutty...) and can write either prose or brackets. I'm also happy to play multiple characters as needed. I'm not the fastest tagger, and I've been having long periods where I don't get to my inbox, but I will backtag forever. My timezone is GMT, and currently my availability is mostly Thursdays through Mondays.

Well hello there. I have not inflicted myself on you nearly enough so let me just hop in here.

I have Galadriel here, in all her uncanny nonsense, but also a handful of other characters that might appeal for OC/Isekai/AU purposes. (I play a passable Arwen but I would need to remake my journal.)

Well, now I have a Death-picking-up-Boromir scene in my head and I feel like it probably wouldn't work as well in RP but it is funny.

tbh Discworld + Tolkien in general feels like it would be funny (on which note, I have a Vimes, and now I know you are in both fandoms I'm deeply tempted to inflict him on Galadriel at some point).

But also, I'm wondering about leaning into that "Faramir took Boromir's place" bad end AU you put in our thread (which is honestly what reminded me about how much I love that concept) - maybe we could do something with Galadriel and any of my non-Faramirs in that situation? The last remnants of the realms of Men being driven back towards Lórien and trying to regroup there?

I am forever here for threads where Death interrupts extremely emotionally charged moments with polite but awkward procedural duties. Likewise, I am delighted by the idea of any interactions between Vimes and Galadriel.

That AU though, I'd be fully here for exploring. Poor Faramir, he had good intentions.

Maybe the last remnants of the armies of Rohan and Gondor are escaping north to avoid the forces of Isengard on one side and Mordor on the other? Lorien would be the only direction to turn, really, unless they want to try to hole up in Moria. Which. Would certainly be a plan.

Other time travelers you say? I'm not sure if you're familiar with the show(and book series) Outlander, but that's where Brianna is from.

Tl;dr: Daughter of a mother who accidentally time traveled from 1945 to the year 1743, who then falls in love with her father. Her mother then travels back to the year 1948 and gives birth to Brianna. I haven't set what canon point I'm playing Bree from, but at the very least she is aware of the existence of time travel, and that she is capable of doing so.

I'm extremely new to playing as her, but I'm very interested in throwing these two together if you are!

preferences/notes: i'm not big on the high European fantasy genre? but most other genres are open for discussion. Nova comes from a dystopian future where everything is ruled by AI and humans are being silenced. as for SMC, he's from a cookie world, with witches. also, he's strong, and a villain, so there's that. romance is on the table for either, if you're brave enough. i generally am a medium-paced tagger and will try to keep threads moving! i would love to find other cookies to play with out there, but i'm open to crosscanon for everything!
