seeking: i'm especially looking for m/m shipping threads, either with canonmates (from any dragon age property) or crosscanon (with a preference for genre-adjacent canons).

i'm here for a wide range of plots and flavors – from soft introspection to unhinged mess. some of my faves include: canon divergences, modern AUs, time travel mishaps, bodyguard assignments, enemies to lovers / lovers to enemies and back again (extra points for morally messy reasons); fake dating (political functions, public appearances, family drama); only one bed / body heat; exploration of trauma, attachment styles, and kink in a way that’s character-driven and rooted in trust, conflict, and growth (!!!).

* for cousland - nathaniel, ser barris, or just for fun, what about an elven mage OC?

preferences/notes:
* for cousland, i have... literally her entire life planned out, and nathaniel especially becomes extremely important to her. i'd love to explore the friends-to-enemies-to-lovers pipeline with them. alternatively, as progressive as she is, her type has always been human warriors/the actually nice templars and for once i'd love to explore a relationship for her with someone who does not come from the background she's used to, and the challenges that would arise as a result.
* for lavellan, he's brand new and i'm itching to explore his character more and i think these three would be most interesting to bounce off of him. specifically, i want to dig into the inherent conflicts of cassandra's faith vs lavellan's faith, or tevinter's legacy of slavery vs dorian's changes + efforts to upend that vs lavellan's struggle to reconcile... everything.
* lastly, my rook is a city elf who was raised by the grey wardens of ferelden, so i'd love to explore the different relationships that he and bellara (or a dalish elf, or even just a more devout city elf) have with their heritage.
→ i'm over 30 so someone in my age range would be nice to write with.

Hi there! No Jaskier, alas, but I can offer Yen for Geralt if you have any interest! She's mainly from the games canon (aka post-books) but I read the books frequently and would be happy to rp from any of the novel timelines. I do ship them a lot, but they've had their ups and downs so I'd be a-okay with all kinds of shenanigans with them.

offering: Fabian Cortez, St. John Allerdyce/Pyro, Shinobi Shaw, Unus the Untouchable... Clearly I have a thing for c-list villains. Anyway, Fabian's my primary, but I'm offering up the others if there's interest in them, too!

seeking: Mainly I'm just looking to connect with other X-Men fans! Comics, movies, cartoons are all good, I'm open to anything. Some specifics:

I'd love to explore dynamics with any character, especially other villains and (former) teammates! Magneto, Exodus, Mystique, Destiny, Avalanche, Blob (his bartender era is so cute, he needs more love), Toad, Sebastian Shaw are of particular interest, but I really just want to toss any combo of characters together.
I love shipping and gen equally and am open to both!
Pyro/Avalanche is my #1 ship, dear god if there's an Avalanche player out there please hit me up. I'm also really looking to explore Pyro's dynamics with Destiny, Mystique, and other former Brotherhood/Freedom Force members post-resurrection, because it's super unfair that we never got a single scene of that.
I have a major weakness for villains in their downtime, hanging out or trying to deal with totally mundane scenarios without resorting to explosions and mass mayhem, and I feel like the Krakoa era is perfect for that. Goofy slice of life at the Green Lagoon, trying to figure out post-villain life, building up odd friendships with heroes and former enemies, reunions with formerly dead teammates, Fabian continuing to be the most pathetic mutant on Krakoa, etc.
On the flipside, I'm so down to explore messy, dark, toxic situations with these characters. With Fabian in particular, I'd love to get into the ways his powers, while being both a great buff for/weapon against other mutants, also leave him vulnerable to exploitation (Magneto forcing him into service on Genosha, Mystique kidnapping him, AUs where he's harvested for his powers, etc) by others. Some dynamic that's mutually tense and threatening, ideally!
The longest of the long shots: Fabian and Anne Marie sibling reunion on Krakoa... (There is nobody on earth who RPs her, but... maybe...???)
Also totally open to AU any of them into other Marvel universes, whether it's the MCU, XMCU, Evolution, 90s animated series, etc. Or, for cross-canon purposes, I'll AU them into... anything at all.

preferences/notes: EST timezone, preference for present tense prose but can do brackets. My work schedule can be unpredictable, but generally if I'm in a good groove I can tag back daily and sometimes boomerang. However, when my schedule gets bad I tend to prioritize game tags (so I don't leave people hanging while game stuff keeps on moving) over PSL/memes and can become pretty slow. Oh also PSLs are way easier for me to keep up with than memes, idk why, but I just keep failing at Bakerstreet!!

Mostly here for an X-Men comics fan fistbump tbh. As there is no world where Nate is not an asshole to Fabian.

Comics fistbump! And hey, Fabian both invites and deserves negative cr, so Nate being an asshole is always a plus in my book.

Ha, well if being a jerk is not a deal breaker, I'd be down to try something. He can take it as well as he dishes it out.

Maybe involving the forced utilisation of Fabian's powers? Just off the top of my head, could have something where Cable's powers are fading leaving him needing the boost to keep him alive - since his powers are necessary for that - while he figures it out. Makes the power dynamic a little more even given he'd need Fabian to keep him alive. Or straight up using him as weapon if you wanted a simpler route. Or I can brainstorm some more, I am not married to any idea.

I'm always a sucker for making characters who can't stand each other get stuck together, so Cable having powers issues is definitely a great place to start. It could be totally antagonistic with strong arming and mutual threats (and Fabian probably scheming lbr), or it even works as the world's worst buddy cop scenario if Fabian's in his "I guess I'm a good guy now" phase and helping willingly. Either way, he'll be a pain in the ass, but hey, Nate's used to dealing with annoying partners by now.

lol, Nate is so used to annoying partners yes. But is Fabian prepared to be unfavourably compared to Deadpool?

But I would be down for either option, both could be fun. He'd be less antagonistic if Fabian was there willingly over being forced so depends on how unfriendly you want things to be. Not that I'm not down for backstabbing and payback.

It's going to bruise his tender ego so badly, surely he's better than the walking scab!!

And hmm Fabian's pretty much built for antagonistic dynamics, so let's go with an unwilling partnership and see what kind of mess that brings. And hey who knows, maybe they can learn to get along...

Also sorry again for the slowness, this holiday season has been extra busy, but hopefully should clear up in the next couple weeks. Hey! It's been a while since we threaded, so I thought I'd check if you'd be interested in doing a thing with these two. Zero pressure as always, of course, just let me know what you're feeling!

offering: Claire here, plus a bunch of her castmates (Noah, Nathan, Peter, Sylar, Mohinder, and Claude). I also have OCs and a few other fandom journals that I could be convinced to bring out - though a couple that need to be set up.
seeking: Juicy plots to sink my teeth into. Ships. Tropey nonsense. Smut, occasionally, if there's a good story behind it. I'm all for banter, but I'm jonesing for some deeper stuff. I like a lot of world-building and examining characters' thoughts and motivations. I also really like throwing a bunch of characters into the same plot and having things connect.

I enjoy throwing my Heroes peeps into similar canons, they obviously play well with anything containing superpowered folks. I'm not completely canon blind with things like Marvel, DC, and The Boys, though I'm definitely not caught up on all of the shows/films - don't worry, I don't mind spoilers. Heroes canon-mates would also be swell, though I know the fandom is pretty small. I've been yearning for a Sylar ~~or a Peter~~ to ship Claire with for ages, let me tell you.

I also enjoy throwing them into places where they do not belong, like fantasy settings such as ASOIAF/GoT/HotD. And I have ideas for where and how they fit in, I just haven't posted it all on their journals.

That said, I would like to dust off and bring out my neglected Ice and Fire canon muses to play around with (Tyrion Lannister, Daenerys Targaryen, and a Rhaenyra Targaryen journal that I've yet to do anything with) but just be aware that there will plenty of rust and voice-testing that comes with that. I am pretty obsessed with this series and setting, and I watch a lot of YouTube theories, which tends to color some of my headcanons and plot ideas. (Ask me about Lemongate. :P) I just am sorely out of practice when it comes to actually writing it. With Dunk and Egg coming soon I'm pretty hyped to get back in. I may or may not have already saved a journal name for Dunk.

I'm also happy to do all kinds of crossover, mix and match things, throw characters into situations in any old setting. Crosscanon is my bread and butter, though admittedly I'm quite choosy about cross-medium. The TL;DR is that I prefer 3D animated and more realistic looking mediums to stuff that looks cartoony, unless it's a canon I'm familiar with (and I'm not familiar with like 99% of anime, I'm sorry).
preferences/notes: My time zone is USA EST and my tagging speed can range anywhere from boomerang to a snail's pace. But if something's been sitting and you're keen to continue, I will never mind being poked and reminded. I adore OOC chatter and plotting. My general preference is for prose, but I'll match brackets as well as tenses to whatever my partner is writing.
